RESULTS OF THE SELECTION for the scholarship for the Workshop on Creative Improvisation and Instant Composition: 1960-2023

La Commissione dei docenti del workshop Creative Improvisation and Instant Composition 1960-2023 – composta da Alvin Curran, Joëlle Léandre, Eddie Prévost, Gianmario Borio e Ingrid Pustijanac – ha esaminato le 64 candidature pervenute in seguito al bando per il workshop in oggetto.  Dopo attenta analisi e comparazione dei curricula, dei contributi audio/video e delle lettere motivazionali, la Commissione ha comunicato l’elenco dei musicisti ammessi al Workshop, qui di seguito pubblicato.

Il Workshop prevede la partecipazione di 12 allievi. A ciascun partecipante verrà assegnata una borsa di studio erogante servizi (alloggio per 3 notti e pranzo per 2 giorni) e offerta la possibilità di seguire integralmente tutte le attività previste nel periodo di svolgimento del progetto con la consegna, al termine del percorso, di un attestato di partecipazione.

Ai candidati ammessi è richiesta la conferma della propria partecipazione al Workshop entro e non oltre il 20 agosto 2023, da inviare al seguente indirizzo email: ludovico.peroni@improcomp.org.

Per l’elevato numero di richieste la commissione ha applicato il numero chiuso, tenendo conto dell’attinenza del cv presentato, delle lettere motivazionali, della varietà di strumentazione e dell’obiettivo della parità di genere. La commissione si riserva, nel caso in cui si liberassero dei posti tra gli effettivi, di chiamare gli idonei non ammessi sulla base di una valutazione ulteriore delle candidature, nonché sulla disponibilità degli stessi. Essi sono comunque invitati in qualità di uditori, senza alcun sostegno per vitto e alloggio.

The Commission for the workshop Creative Improvisation and Instant Composition 1960-2023 – composed of Alvin Curran, Joëlle Léandre, Eddie Prévost, Gianmario Borio and Ingrid Pustijanac – has reviewed the 64 applications received following the call for applications for this workshop.  The Commission, after careful analysis and comparison of the curricula, audio/video contributions and motivational letters, announced the list of musicians admitted to the Workshop, published below.

The Workshop will involve the participation of 12 students. Each participant will be awarded a scholarship (accommodation for 3 nights and lunch for 2 days) and offered the opportunity to fully follow all the activities planned during the period of the project with the delivery, at the end of the course, of a certificate of participation.

Accepted applicants are requested to confirm their participation in the Workshop no later than August 20, 2023, to be sent to the following email address:   ludovico.peroni@improcomp.org.

Due to the high number of applications, the committee applied the closed number, taking into account the relevance of the submitted cv, motivational letters, variety of instrumentation and the goal of gender equality. The committee reserves the right, in the event of vacancies among the headcount, to call the unsuccessful candidates on the basis of further evaluation of applications as well as their availability. They are invited as auditors, however, without any support for room and board.
